The Human Resource Department oversees the personnel aspect of the City's operation in an effort to maximize both individual needs and organizational objectives. This includes processing applications and new hires, development and management of the City's benefits program and compensation plan.
This goal is accomplished through the implementation and maintenance of fair and equitable employment policies, effective selection procedures, an open-door approach to communication, as well as accurate personnel and payroll record systems.
