Does my dog have to be on a leash?
Yes, according to City Ordinance 6-42 "It shall be unlawful for any person owning or having control over or having custody of any tagged dog to permit or allow such dog to run or be at large upon any unfenced lot, tract or parcel of public or privately owned land not owned by the owner of such dog within the corporate city limits."

Can I have an electric fence inside the city limits?
No, according to City Ordinance 66-758 "Construction and/or operation of electric fences prohibited.

(a)     The term “electric fence,” as used in this section, shall mean any fence connected to any source of current capable of producing an electric shock when touched by any person, animal or object.
(b)     It shall be unlawful for any person to construct, operate and/or own any electric fence within the corporate city limits."
