Hotel Occupancy Tax
Every person owning, operating, managing, or controlling any hotel or collecting payment for occupancy in any hotel shall collect the Hotel Occupancy Tax from their guests for the State of Texas and the City of Andrews.

Cities that collect a local Hotel Occupancy Tax (HOT), a venue tax, or both are required to report annually the information provided on this page. The requirements were enacted by the 2017 Texas Legislature in S.B. 1221 (creating section 351.009 of the Texas Tax Code).
