The Code Compliance Division inspects properties within the city limits to ensure compliance with ordinances and state regulations.  Code Compliance Officers and staff help assist and educate homeowners and landowners in the City about the Code of Ordinances, and in turn helps keep occupants and neighbors safe, protect property values, and make our city an attractive, secure place to live and conduct business. 

The City of Andrews Code Compliance administers the Code of Ordinances relating to environmental issues such as:

• Accumulation of trash / junk / debris
• Illegal dumping
• High grass / weeds
• Junked vehicles
• Open and dangerous buildings
• Minimum Property Standard
• RVs and Trailers

Enforcement of ordinances is intended to prevent and abate environmental nuisances on private property.
