Steve Eggleston Biography



Steve Eggleston was appointed the City Manager of the City of Andrews on July 1, 2018. Prior to this position, he served over eight years as the City’s Director of Finance and Administration, the last two of which he also served as the Assistant City Manager.
 
Throughout his career in public service, Steve has always been an active volunteer and member of city management and public service organizations including the Texas City Management Association (TCMA), the International City/County Management Association (ICMA), the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA), and the Texas Municipal Human Resources Association (TMHRA). Steve currently serves on the TCMA Ethics Committee and serves as treasurer for the Andrews Adult Literacy Program and The Gideons International Andrews Camp. Steve also served on the GFOA Special Review Committee for five years while Director of Finance.
 
Prior to joining the City of Andrews, Steve served in senior management positions in the private sector for Warren Cat, Waste Control Specialists, Chemical Waste Management, Continental Tire, and USG Corporation.
 
In December 2016, Steve became a Certified Public Manager through Texas Tech University. In April 2019, Steve was recgonized as an ICMA Credentialed Manager. Steve received his Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from Angelo State University.
