Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports

The purpose of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) is to provide accurate and meaningful information concerning the City’s financial condition and performance.  Independent auditors have verified that the City has fairly presented its financial position, in all material respects, in accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America.

 

gfoacafrlogo   The Certificate of Achievement for "Excellence in Financial Reporting" has been awarded to the City of Andrews by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for its 2010 comprehensive annual financial report (CAFR). The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management. This represents thirty-one (31) consecutive years that the City of Andrews has received this award!
